The SJC has been set up under the statutory requirements of The School Governance (Collaboration) (England) Regulations 2003. It has representation from the governing body of each of the CIP schools as well as from a range of other service providers, community organisations and partners.
This Committee has a strategic leadership and decision making role and oversees the CIP Shared Plan and CIP Financial/ Business Plan. It provides governance to the Community Improvement Partnership and meets three times a year.
