The Havant and Petersfield Special Needs Forum first formed in 1999 when a group of interested parties came together to work towards meeting the needs of all children and young people (aged 0 to 25) with special needs and specific disabilities, and their families, by meeting regularly to represent their views and to progress services.

Our aims are:

• To identify local needs, and gaps in services,
• Provide an information exchange,
• Network with families, services and  groups,
• To promote services,
• To initiate, support and oversee special needs projects.
